This fall, our cheer program is leveling up! We’re offering two exciting options for your child to explore their love of cheer—whether they thrive on school spirit or want to compete on the mat.
POM Squad – Sideline Cheer
Perfect for kids who love the excitement of game days, the POM Squad focuses on sideline cheer, school spirit, and fun.
Why your child will love it:
High-energy environment supporting our football teams Practices once a week starting the first week of August, keeping a manageable schedule Games begin the third week of August, giving kids the thrill of performing in front of the crowd Participation in NOFA Cheer Zone required Open to Pembroke School District residents
Competition Cheer – Take the Mat
For athletes ready to showcase their skills and compete, our competition teams offer the opportunity to perform, grow, and shine.
Why your child will love it: Compete in 5–6 competitions throughout the season, including a major event in Syracuse Practices start early to mid-June, preparing your child for skill development and team growth Open to athletes from any district
Can’t Decide? Do Both! Kids are welcome and encouraged to participate in both the POM Squad and Competition Cheer, giving them the chance to enjoy school spirit and competitive cheer in the same season.
