Pembroke Youth Association (PYA) aspires to be an outstanding educational-athletic organization that provides and helps to promote a high-quality sporting experience to every athlete/child. PYA believes that a high-quality sporting experience for every athlete/child means:
  • every athlete/child is coached using the principles of positive coaching
  • every athlete/child has fun at practices and games
  • every athlete/child feels like and is an important part of the team regardless of their performance
  • every athlete/child learns "life lessons" that have value beyond the playing field
  • every athlete/child learns the skills, the tactics and the strategies of the game, which will help them improve as a player but more importantly as an individual
Pembroke Youth Association believes in promoting, practicing and encouraging sportsmanship and good self-esteem, while providing a safe, healthy and positive environment in which the youth of our community can learn the fundamentals of all sports while having opportunities for athletic and personal growth. Pembroke Youth Association is all about, and for the children of our community. Without them, Pembroke Youth Association would not exist. We come together as a community and as a sports organization to give the children what they need, want and most importantly, the experience they deserve.
